It's Been A Long While...

So it’s been a while since I Blogged.

Ok, almost two years...

So what have I done in that time? Quite a lot, actually.

I’m still in school (sighs).

My mom passed away in ’05 (sniff).

My dad is growing orchids. Everyone thinks he’s growing pot.

Oh yes, and I’ve decided I want to go into medical advocacy... or at least that’s the only sensible thing I can see to do with my degree (Philosophy: ethics).

I was in the Ethics Bowl. We got to Nationals. We didn’t make it past the first set of rounds, but ahh well. I learned a valuable lesson: It’s not about how good you are, it’s about how good you seem.

Gripe: UCSC offers far too few classes in the Philosophy department that I actually want to take... haven’t taken already... could understand if properly beaten... and I’m sorely wishing I’d double-majored (as I’ve been stuck here an extra year).

This’ll be short, as it’s my “first” post after a long absence, but it’s no matter, because no one is reading this. I'll post some more later, in case you got lost and actually care. :)
